Dr. Connor Subocz-Quinn, DC
Hi, I’m Dr. Connor—a Bay Area native and former U.S. Army combat medic. After nearly a decade of military service and two deployments to Afghanistan, I witnessed the harmful effects of opioid-based pain management firsthand.
That experience fueled my passion for finding safer, more effective solutions, which ultimately led me to chiropractic care.
I discovered chiropractic after dealing with sciatic pain and upper back tension during my time in service. Later, following a serious car
accident and concussion, it was chiropractic care that played a pivotal role in my recovery.
Outside the office, I stay active through beach runs with my dog Parker, rock climbing, and lifting. I’m also a writer, volunteer with Team Rubicon and Purpose First, and love giving back to the community.
My approach to care is all about getting to the root of the issue—
so you can move, feel, and live better for the long haul.Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
My Story
A Bay Area native and U.S. Army veteran, Dr. Connor relocated to San Diego in 2024 to continue his journey in healthcare. After nearly a decade serving as a combat medic — including two deployments to Afghanistan — he witnessed firsthand the challenges of traditional pain management and became passionate about safer, more effective solutions.
His own experience with chiropractic care began during service, when sciatic pain and back tension from body armor led him to discover the power of holistic treatment. Following a serious car accident years later, chiropractic once again played a key role in his recovery — inspiring his decision to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College West.
At Palmer, Dr. Connor served as president of the Speak Club and trained with diverse populations through internships with the VA Black Hills Health Care System and a pediatrics and maternity specialist in Alaska.
Outside the clinic, he’s dedicated to service and community — volunteering with Team Rubicon for disaster relief, leading local beach cleanups, and staying active through running, lifting, rock climbing and enjoying time with his dog, Parker.
Dr. Connor’s philosophy is simple: pain is a structural problem that deserves a root-cause solution. Through chiropractic care, movement, and lifestyle guidance, he helps patients restore function, alignment, and long-term wellness — not just temporary relief.
